Thanksgiving

Even though it's December now, I felt I should write a bit about our Thanksgiving.

For our first Thanksgiving as a family of three, Scott, Preston and I traveled to celebrate with my family in Nashville. It was Preston's first time in my home state, and it was fun to take him around to all of my favorite places in town. We enjoyed our week off with my family, eating too much and playing Mario Tennis on N64. Scott and I even got to sneak away and see a movie ("Skyfall," which was awesome). And while it wasn't traditional Thanksgiving fare, Preston — complete with crocheted turkey hat —enjoyed his oatmeal almost as much as everyone enjoyed watching him eat it. 

We had a wonderful time, and now we're looking forward to the little guy's first Christmas!
